Who is JRowe?

Jrowe is a spoken word poet, educator and host known for crafting pieces that bloom with honesty, reflection, and quiet strength. From national stages like the National Poetry Slam to opening for Cornel West and Buddy Wakefield, their voice has reached audiences across the country.

A 2023 recipient of Senator Dr. Pam’s Resolution Award, Jrowe’s work continues to grow both on stage and in print, including publication in the Journal of Employment Counseling (2026). Their poetry lives in the space between softness and truth words that take root inspire action.

Beginning in 2025, Jrowe embarks on the Blossom Book Tour, alongside the self-publication of their debut poetry collection rooted in themes of grounding, breathing, kindling, and becoming. As both an artist and educator, they are available for hosting, keynote speaking, poetry workshops, and headline performances, creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and grow.
